He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) (2001) and a Masters in Women’s Law (2008) from the University
of Zimbabwe. He was registered in September 2001 to practice as a Legal Practitioner, Convayancer and Notary Public and thereafter practiced law with Wilmot and Bennett until July 2004. In August 2004 he joined the Judicial College of Zimbabwe as a lecturer, where he lectured the following courses; Interpretation of Statutes, Law of Contract, Delict and Judicial Ethics. Between 2005 and 2008 he also lectured at the Police Staff College, the following courses; Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Law of Evidence.
Norman has vast experience in commercial law practice, labour and property law. Between December
2007 and October 2015 he was the Corporate Secretary and Legal Adviser for the national broadcaster;
Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, where he was responsible for commercial contracts, litigation,
industrial relations, corporate governance and administration. He rejoined private practice in November
2015.
